On 19th February the world famous Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square became the centrepiece of an event to mark 100 days until the start of this year’s ICC Cricket World Cup. With two giant inflatable wickets either side of the landmark, it gave the illusion of the middle stump.
Showforce was delighted to provide its long-term standing client, innovision, with six experienced crew and a crew chief to assist with the loading, unloading and positioning of crowd control barrier for the event.
Ambassadors in attendance for the launch included England cricketer James Anderson and former England cricketer Graeme Swann, as well as OBE Olympic Gold Medallist Rebecca Adlington, reality TV star Chris Hughes and cricketing commentator Nasser Hussain, plus many more.
This tournament will be hosted on home soil making it especially memorable for cricket fans in England and Wales.
