Showforce provide event staff to brand activation at Ramadan Light Festival

The Ramadan Lights Festival took place at the Dubai Ice Rink from 22nd May to 12th June, during this years’ holy month. The festival offered attendees a multitude of different games and activities ranging from VR experiences and football challenges, to an arts & crafts zone.  Running alongside the activities was a campaign called ‘A Touch of Love’ which encouraged families visiting the festival to donate their unwanted clothes to the less fortunate.

Showforce supplied its client Duplays with experienced event staff to assist with the smooth running of a series of football challenges sponsored by car manufacturer Chevrolet. Whilst one team member was on-hand throughout, another assisted during busier periods. Event staff were responsible for encouraging passers-by to partake in some of the activities on offer. These included a crossbar challenge, scoring penalties and attempts to achieve a certain amount of ‘keepie uppies’. Anyone who entered the challenge would then fill out their information on an iPad with one of the Chevrolet promoters and was entered into a prize draw to win AED 500 voucher to spend within the mall where the Dubai Ice Rink is situated.

In total the two Showforce event staff completed 224 hours during the course of the festival.
