Showforce were delighted to assist Proactiv with the astonishing installation of the Harry Potter in Concert Series at Du Forum, Abu Dhabi. It was one of the first of its type in the UAE, to accompany a 40 foot wide high definition screen, with a live symphony orchestra all the way from Barcelona to perform ‘Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone’. The popular film series and first of the film franchise ‘The Philosophers Stone’, celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter book.
The event was completed with the help of 14 Showforce event staff that spoke a mixture of Arabic and English. The event took place from the 21st to 23rd of September. The team included 1 Supervisor who acted as the main point of contact and was responsible for managing the staff, 3 VIP floor Ushers, 4 seating Ushers and 6 information Ushers. The Harry Potter in Concert joins a credible list of other screenings that have recently taken place in UAE with live orchestral performances accompanying Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark and Jurassic Park.
A total of 195 hours were amassed by the event staff who delivered a magical event.
In addition, Showforce also provided stage crew to assist various clients during the install and derig.
