The very nature of our business means people are at the heart of our organisation and are our most valuable resource. We invest considerable time and resources to train our staff in a comprehensive range of industry related skills.
Going above the industry standard, all crew receive our comprehensive, interactive and compelling industry specific induction and manual handling training as well as SPA Live Events and Working at Height training as standard.
They are briefed about our clients, business and values with a specific focus on working environments, health and safety, site safety, hazard awareness, personal wellbeing and equipment identification.
Showforce induction and training programmes are developed and updated regularly with our safety partners A.C.T. (National) Ltd. A.C.T. are one of the country’s leading exponents in event health & safety and they work closely with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in developing, writing and delivering bespoke IOSH approved and accredited training courses. We believe that this external, independent source of Health & Safety knowledge is the way forward to ensure that Showforce remains credible and at the forefront of our industry standards.
Showforce has made a deliberate decision to ensure that all their Health, Safety & Welfare needs and requirements are looked after round the clock by an independent, qualified and competent full-time event and occupational safety consultancy. A.C.T. (National) Ltd is that Showforce safety partner. This independence follows (and exceeds) the requirements for the appointment of competent safety advice as required by legislation (Section 7 of the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999). A.C.T. works very closely with Showforce on a daily basis to ensure that the level of support and advice given is second to none. All training is tailored specifically for Showforce, from the first staff induction to the IOSH Managing Safely courses they undertake. This requires a very good understanding of the Showforce services on offer, and A.C.T. regularly visits and talks to the management and staff to ensure that the input they are given stays fresh and relevant.
