Showforce provided crewing support to Fulwell 73 who were responsible for producing the Apple Music Presents Little Mix promotional event for the popular girl band’s new album ‘LM5’ when it was filmed at EartH on November 13th.
Onsite from Saturday 10th November, a team of 18 crew, including two banksmen arrived to begin the load in and rig for the event. Crew numbers then ranged between two and eight during the remainder of the rig and rehearsals on the Sunday and Monday. Showforce provided four crew who were on standby throughout the show day, onsite for 12 hours from 10:30am. Ten crew then returned to complete the derig when the event came to the end.
The crew assisted with the audio and furniture load in and out, along with moving props into the correct position and assisting with rehearsals. On the show day the crew included follow spot operators.
This was an up close and personal gig with Little Mix, the band also took part in a special Q&A hosted by Beats 1 presenter Julie Adenuga. This show was streamed around the world on Apple Music. The former Hackney Arts Centre has recently reopened as a state-of-the-art revamp of the old savoy called EartH and this was one its first gigs.
