Abu Dhabi Animal Sanctury Event

Abu Dhabi Animal Sanctury Event

Showforce and the Taylor group recently combined forces to put together an animal sanctuary event on Abu Dhabi beach.

Their job was to build a beach hut and 200m of fence, all covered in Barasti (not the trendy bar in Dubai, but the traditional Arabic fence material made from dried palm fronds).

The 3 carpenters and 6 apprentices worked 2 days to ensure the walkways and walls leading to the dome were assembled in time.

Despite the usual challenges with the heat in Abu Dhabi, the project was a complete triumph.

Messenger of Peace Event

Messenger of Peace Event

The annual ‘Messenger of Peace’ event held by Prince Faizel and King Abdulla, took place recently with the aid of Showforce’s scenic workshop.

Over 5,000 Scouts from 93 nations were on hand for an "International Peace Camp" and participated in the launch event in the stadium at King Abdullah University for Science and Technology. It was a moving and uplifting event that focused on the notion that the more than 30 million Scouts around the world can, indeed, make a difference in attitudes about peace.
The Showforce team of 5 carpenters and 12 local crew put together an 8m high and 56m wide structure and was one of the largest outdoor structures they’ve ever done.

Despite the challenges of 30MPH winds and extremely high humidity the event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was a complete success.
