UAE 40th National Day This year, the UAE are celebrating the 40th UAE National Day throughout 40 days of events, activities and celebrations. Starting from the 24th of October and counting up till the 2nd of December 2011.M any featured events took place throughout the seven Emirates which included Social sharing heritage activities, competitions by the Ministry interior and Redball Project. Showforce were there helping on a number of the events which were held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We had a total of 30 international and local Crew setting up and breaking down the event. We were very pleased to be a part of this iconic event held in the UAE for the 40th time.

The eye on Earth summit The eye on earth summit is an exhibition which features the best in new geospatial observation and data processing technologies. Highlights include the Abu Dhabi Pavilion, Technology Showcase, Innovation Forum, and the One UN Pavilion that will bring together UNEP and other UN agencies, funds and programmes to display information and products that illustrate the multi-dimensional international work the UN is doing in the area of environmental data and information. This ground breaking event will host a number of famous faces one of which will be the one and only Bill Clinton. Showforce are playing an integral part in this event by supplying Crew, Stage Hands and Stage Managers for a full 11 days to ensure that the event runs smoothly

Qatar Convention Centre - World Petroleum Congress Opened in 2011, the Qatar National Convention Centre will be an unparalleled convention facility, boasting iconic design and cutting edge facilities in a world-first green-technology venue. QNCC is the first of its kind being built to the gold certification of U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED). The World Petroleum Congress and Exhibition is the largest and most reputable oil and gas industry gathering in the world. The 20th World Petroleum Congress is hosted by Qatar Petroleum and will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Doha, Qatar, from 4-8 December 2011. Since its establishment in 1933, this is the first time that the World Petroleum Congress will be hosted in the Middle East.
